How do you attach an NFS export?

I have an issue where I'm trying to connect an NFS source to the NX Server for external storage. Every time that I attach the storage, it shows that the storage protocol on the client is SMB. The user manual states that the software is compatible with CIFS, SMB, NFS, or iSCSI, but does that mean that it can just ingest those protocols but only use SMB? The operating system that I'm running is Windows Server 2019.
