Link a Meta installation to NX Witness

Is it possible to link an NX meta installation to NX witness? So our company has leased a new building and there is an NX meta installation on site.
Would it be possible to link this installation to our NXcloud with our other NX witness installations?

You cannot link a Nx Meta system to a Nx Witness system.
Also, it isn't recommended running a Nx Meta system in a production environment.0 -

it's actually a "powered by NX" version. So I guess it's a production version?
It's from a local reseller. But I guess we'll have to work with it as is.

All versions of our software are "Powered by Nx".
Nx = Network Optix, our company name. Nx Witness is our video management system (VMS). Nx Meta is our video management platform (VMP), intended to build solutions for Nx Witness and other OEMs of our VMS software.In general, Meta has features, that aren't available yet for Witness, and as a consequence doesn't have the same level of quality assurance as Witness and minor or even major bugs might occur and therefore not suitable for production environments.
Also, you cannot buy licenses for Meta, these always will be time-based licenses we offer for free for developers and are valid for a certain period of time.

Hi Norman, thanks for the clarification, I was under the impression that Meta was the group-name of installations "powered by NX".
But does this mean that I can still link a "Powered by NX" installation to our standard NX Witness or NX cloud?

Hi Jurgen Imbrechts,
Each version has its own cloud instance, but you can log in to each instance with the same credentials without creating another account.
