Exported recordings doe not include the metadata

When exporting recordings of one single camera to "mkv" or "nov" file, the metadata that it has is not exported.

 

Am I missing some option or is this by design at this moment and it is being improved for future releases?

I am using version 4.2.0.32840

  Thank you for the feedback.

  Currently there is no option for this, but this feature has been approved internally for future versions (no ETA as of now)

  Hello Derek,

  Any news on getting the export the metadata to the ".nov" or ".exe" files?

  Will v5 be getting this feature in one of the patches or will it be pushed for v6 or above?

  Hello,

  As metadatas are getting mor popular we have similar request : exporting metadata together with ".nov" and ".exe" file.

  On 5.1 there still no option, neither on Meta.

  Can you confirm it's still on the road map ? Any ETA ?
