Acti E96 and I47 Cameras
AnsweredII have a new deployment of NX, and I'm having some repeated issues with connecting Acti E96 and I47 cameras. NX is running 4.2.0.3840, with two well-specified servers with approx 60tb of storage on each.
The issue is that periodically the NX does not receive any video from particular cameras, and I get an error reporting 'No data received during the last 10 seconds'. It recovers quickly, but repeats
I've been investigating as far as possible an network issue (the topology is quite simplistic) but other models of cameras on the network don't have any issues.
Both the I47 and the E96 are based on the same platform with the same firmware - so I'm beginning to suspect something with this. The cameras came with a firmware version not actually available on Acti's download site, v6.16. I downgraded to V.6.15.06, and this definitely helped, but I still have period issues with approx 8 of the 30 cameras.
However, before I raise a ticket with Acti, I'd just like to check that this wasn't a known bug or issue with NX
The other peculiarity is that on some of the problematical cameras, when I view the live view details they don't match up with the fps setting set on NX, as below. From the camera web interface

There are no known issues between Acti cameras and Nx Witness.
