    Hi Calypso,

Any compatible PTZ camera can be turned away based on an event. The event is To Be Determined. Something has to know when you are indoors. This could be an external motion detector connected to an input in the system, but also a manual action based on a soft trigger, so you can manually move the camera away through the Nx mobile app, or a lock detector so that the camera moves away when the door is unlocked and views in the room when locked, etc.

The only limitation is your imagination (and your budget of course).

    Hi Norman

The turn away part is easy, I can manage that. Just looking for suitable hardware. Most PTZ are massive and not suited for indoors. Also don't want to be paying for a zoom that will never be used.

Best I have found so far is: https://amcrest.com/amcrest-1080p-poe-video-security-ip-camera-pt.html

    Hi Calypso,

I hope you understand I can't recommend any specific models, that is something other community member should do.

That being said, most reputable brands offer small form factor pan/til cameras. Take notice that sometime small form factor PT camera don't turn 360 degrees, but for example 180 degrees which means that you can't turn it away completely.
