Unable to hear HikVision Audio
AnsweredI have a few DS-2CD2347G2-LU cameras.
The mic operates through the Hik apps, but can't seem to push it through to NX.
I noticed the post 10 months ago here, tried a few different codecs with no change.
On the supported devices, i'm seeing 2-way audio as supported.
I'm sure it's something simple.
(and yes, audio is enabled for the camera in NX). :P

Did you check if Audio is enabled in the camera as well?
To do this, Login to the webpage of the cameras, navigate to the camera configuration menu, please check in the Video/Audio menu in the Video tab if the under Video Type it is set to Video&Audio, instead of Video only.
Recently we got noticed by another user, and they solved it with a firmware update.
If this doesn't resolve it, please run the Audio Backchannel test in the Onvif Device Test Tool and share the XML output of this test.

I don't have any specific recommendations, since it varies per camera what does best.
