    Hello,

You can remove the plugin binary from the plugin directory on the server. After that a plugin won't be available  in the "Plugins" tab of the "Camera settings" window.

But the plugin still will be listed in the "Plugins" tab of the "System Administration" window. It is done intentionally. The rationale is that database might store metadata generated by this plugin containing engine id and other plugin specific details.

Thank you for the response.  I'll keep that in mind.

    Hello,

You can remove binary files from the plugins directory, but the plugin remains to be seen in the System Administration->Plugin. That's done by intention to identify the metadata already produced by the plugin.

    Hello,
    > How can I completely uninstall the plugins so that they disappear from the search and the advanced search?

The short answer is no, you can't.

See the thread explaining the similar issue.

A workaround could be restoring System configuration from the backup made before introducing plugins and then rebuilding the video archive.
