How to uninstall a plugin

I've noticed that once a plugin is loaded by the dll it won't be removed from the available plugin list when the dll is removed or the id changes. How do I completely remove a plugin if I need to uninstall it?

You can remove the plugin binary from the plugin directory on the server. After that a plugin won't be available in the "Plugins" tab of the "Camera settings" window.
But the plugin still will be listed in the "Plugins" tab of the "System Administration" window. It is done intentionally. The rationale is that database might store metadata generated by this plugin containing engine id and other plugin specific details.

Hello,
You can remove binary files from the plugins directory, but the plugin remains to be seen in the System Administration->Plugin. That's done by intention to identify the metadata already produced by the plugin.

A workaround could be restoring System configuration from the backup made before introducing plugins and then rebuilding the video archive.
