Integration of Pansonic cameras MPEG-4/JPEG
AnsweredHello,
I would like to integrate a few older Panaonic cameras.
They mostly only support MPEG-4 / JPEG
Has anyone managed it yet?

Hi Gerhard Kosira,
MPEG-4 isn't supported within Nx Witness, but MJPEG has a serious chance it will work.
The URL format depends a bit on the model, so if you can list the models you have, I might be able to provide you with the proper URL format.

Hi Gerhard Kosira,
Please try the following URLs:
For WV-NP24x, WJ-NT304-1, and WJ-NT304-2 the following URL could be used:
http://<ip_address>/cgi-bin/mjpeg?stream=0
stream 0 for the primary stream and stream 1 for the secondary stream
For WV-NF284 and WV-NS202 the following URLs could be used
http://<ip_address>/cgi-bin/mjpeg
http://<ip_address>/nphMotionJpeg0 -

Hi Gerhard Kosira,
Is there an option to forward the cameras, so we can access them remotely?
We might be able to capture the right RTSP format URL with Wireshark.
Please let me know if this is possible, and I'll create a ticket on your behalf, so you can share the login credentials in a confidential manner.
