Defrag of recording drives
AnsweredShould we be doing defrag (or letting windows do automated defrag) on recording/archive drives?

Hi SD,
Typically, there is no reason of defragging the drives that hold the videodata, but it shouldn't hurt either.
That being said, it is likely that during the defragging the recording will stop, and error notifications will appear in the VMS due to the excessive drive load.1 -
Thanks Norman!
