NX Witness Cloud - Notification when systems disconnects
It would be very handy for the owner and users of a system be notified when NX Witness Cloud looses communication with a server after a specified amount of time.
For example: When "System 1" goes offline for a period greater than 15 minuets send a notification to the user or system owner.
This would notify the appropriate people that they need to check in on the system to see what's wrong and prevent systems from going down for extended periods of time without anyone known about it. Usually people find out a system is down when they go to try and pull footage only to find out the system hasn't been online and not recording.

Hello Duncan Miller,
That's been awhile. I hope all is well with you.
Thank you for your suggestion. I completely agree that it would be a sensible feature to have. However, at the moment, we do not offer this feature. I will leave this topic open for our Product Team for review and consideration for future releases.
The feature you have requested applies only to single-server systems. In such cases, the most common resolution would be to use a second server, which can be merged with the first server, and with the desired rules, you can receive notifications via email or other means in case either of the servers goes down. This solution can be as simple as using a Raspberry Pi.
Personally, I use an application called Uptime Kuma to monitor my entire network. You can find a blog post about it HERE, where you can set the language to English in the top-right corner of the page.
Thank you for reaching out to us, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or suggestions.
Best regards.
