Unmerge a system into separate systems
AnsweredWe have a customer with 5 locations with a server at each location and all the servers are currently merged. The customer wants to split up the merged system into 5 individual systems.
Currently, there are 85 licenses installed in total. 59 licenses on one server and 26 licenses on another. The 3 remaining servers are not listed in the licenses tab.
What is the best way to approach this task?
Would I need to deactivate the licenses or is there a way to redistribute them before splitting up the system?

Dear Stanislav Yachnik,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you that when you unmerge the servers from our system, each unmerged server will essentially become a new system, requiring separate configuration.
To ensure a smooth transition, it's mandatory to deactivate any license keys you plan to use in the new system prior to unmerging the servers. This will help avoid any potential complications and allow for a seamless setup process.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards.
