    Hi Jose Janampa,

Both the Professional Recording License and Analog Encoder License can be used to activate the recording on the encoder.
Here are the differences between them.

    Professional Recording License

    • Enables recording of captured video.
    • One license channel per camera.
    • It can be used for all supported video sources.

    Analog Encoder License

    • Enables recording of captured video on encoders/DVRs.
    • One license per 4 analog channels.

Therefore, to do the recording on an encoder with 4 analog cameras, you can choose to use 1) four Professional Recording Licenses, or 2) one Analog Encoder License.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions.
    Thank you.
