Is it possible to increase motion detection resolution?
AnsweredIs it possible to somehow have smaller squares while configuring motion detection? Or make motion detection work on dewarped images?
Because I have fish eye camera's and these squares are actually to big to make motion detection work reliably. A single square, for example, always covers both a door and a plant (that moves with wind...) just because the square is so big compared to the image.
I get that this won't be a problem with regular camera's but with fish eye camera's everything is more compact on the fisheye view. So it would make sense to make it do motion detection on the dewarped images.
But as far as I can tell, NX server doesn't do fisheye dewarping. This is implemented in the clients only? (which is also the reason why we can't get a dewarped stream from the api?)
Anyway, for motion detection to work reliable on my 4000x3000 fisheye camera's I need smaller squares to configure motion detection.
Is this somehow possible?

Hi Andy Knuts,
Unfortunately, this isn't possible.
I would recommend to use camera analytics though since this would reduce the number of false positive significantly. If the camera doesn't offer in-camera analytics, you could use 3rd party analytics or the experimental Open VINO application, which you can use in case you're using an Intel processor.
