  Great Idea! I'll forward the feature requested to our Dev Team for consideration.

  For now, you can restrict the software from storing a hi/low res by going to Expert tab(Camera settings window) and checking one of the check-boxes at the Archive Control option.

  We prefer long term low resolution video versus high resolution for a shorter period of time

  Example
  One camera recording for
  100 days Hi-res and Lo-Res vs
  95 days Hi-Res and 200 days Lo-Res
  for the same storage

  As a work-around, you could use the storage backup feature & backup the low res only to a seperate partition or drive.

  when the backup Drive fills up

  will it start deleting oldest video files on the backup drive ?

  Any update to this?  Was going to make a new post, but this is exactly what I'm wanting.  To be able to set different max archive days for hi vs low res streams.
