Automatic logoff?

Dear all,

Last weekend, on the 6^th of November, my NX Witness clients and server got disconnected from the Nx cloud.

I had to reconnect them all to the cloud in order to regain access.

Did this error occur with other people’s devices as well?

Maybe related to this: in the settings, it’s possible to define an automatic disconnect after a certain time period (by default 30 days). This indeed was the case on that day (i.e. 30 days after start session), but after upgrading to the newest release, this feature doesn't seem to be working anymore. 

Does this setting have any impact on the cloud connection as well, or does this only effect local (= machine to machine) connections?

  Hi Tom,

  This isn't an error, but designed behavior.
  After 30 days the token for the log in will expire and logging in once again is required.

   

  In the System Administration menu, tab Security (1), you can set the Limit Session Duration (2).
