Received video from NX does not match requested time

Hello there,

We LOVE NX and integrating it into our product IFA it's been a blast.

At this time we do have an issue. While requesting a video segment from the server the video we receive does not matches the requested time frames. It includes a few seconds before.

The method used to request the recorded video is HTTP Streaming (Legacy). Using the Accurate Seek parameter does not help since the received video must be transcoded.

Kindly we need to ask for your support. Our product launches in 25 days and we do need to receive the video with the exact times requested.

  Hello Miguel,

  Please provide the following info:

  • Server OS version
  • VMS build number
  • camera high and low stream parameters (FPS rate, codec, resolution) you request video from
  • a code snippet by which you request video from the camera.

  does not matches the requested time frames.

  Please give us more details about the project. What is the objective of requesting video for certain time frames? How long these time frames are?

  we do need to receive the video with the exact times requested. 

  What time deviation (in milliseconds) is enough to be considered as "exact"?
