Playback support for NVR

Hi, We managed to discover cameras from a Hikvision NVR and getting live streams.(I assume through Onvif).But playback is not supported natively.To get playback working I assume we need to implement a vms plugin.I am new to plugin development and would like to know how we can associate the cameras already populated Natively be associated with the plugin?   Let me ask several questions first in order to have the detailed understanding of the situation you're in? I encourage you to answer as fully as possible.

  What is the build number of the Server?

  What is the version of Hikvision NVR?

  What are you doing exactly?  Please describe in step-by-step way. What is the expected result? What is actual? Any screenshots are very welcome.
