SMB3 Storage error: invalid storage path

I purchased an smb storage space at ionos, enabled SMB, tested it by mounting it to make sure all credintials are correct, and it works fine. as you can see, listing mounted devices with df-h outputs:

when I try to add External Storage I keep getting the following error.

P.S. tried //smb3..... instead of \\smb3....same error.

  Could you take a look at Wendy's comment in THIS support article.
  If it does not help, let me know, we will investigate the problem further.

  Also, please check if writing is permitted in the ... .com/root folder.

  I found it after I mounted the right folder ....com/root/users/kamal

  As mentioned before, I have successfully performed the suggested operation in your reference, I mounted the remote share into a local folder /mnt/nx-smb-storage, but I cannot see it  in the list of drives in the storage settings at Nx Witness
