Nx Witness Client reports unauthorized and blurs the camera when I change the user role on the camera from admin/operator to user
AnsweredOn the camera I can change the user role between admin, operator and user with the user being able to "see" but has no control access. When I change the role, on the camera VMS and ODM this does not affect the camera image but on Nx Witness Client the camera image becomes blurry with Unauthorized water mark. Is this the expected behaviour of the the client or is there something wrong with my setup?

This is the expected behavior.
To use more camera functions, it is recommended to add devices with their default administrator level credentials.
The point is that Nx Server cannot affect the User permissions that were created on the camera. And your user, who is only allowed to "see", cannot send any requested information to the Nx Server. Therefore, the status is unauthorized.
Our software allows you to create 5 built-in custom roles. Therefore, we recommend that you add the Camera to the Server with its default administrator account. And then create users with different roles in our Nx.
