IP Cameras are not authorized.
AnsweredHello Team,
We recently added some new IP cameras. We reach out to them and watch through http. We also see them on the nxWitness' resource tree. However, they are not authorized like the attached picture.

There are many existing IP cameras on the same server and they work fine.
Could you tell us why those of new IP Camera’s are not authorized?
We found out that the following log appears in the server’s /opt/networkoptix/mediaserver/var/log/log_file.log when we accessed the unauthorized camera.

Hello @...,
1) Just for the information, did you enter the correct password to the camera settings?
2) Did you check that they are working fine over ONVIF? For example, they must work in 'ONVIF device manager'.- nxWitness Information
- Version:4.0.0.29987
3) Please try to update to the latest version.

Hi Roman,
Thank you for your reply. After creating the ONVIF user acount on the AXIS camera, it was authorized! We didn't know that the ONVIF user is required to be authorized because other model of AXIS cameras were not required it.
Anyway, thanks for your help.
Regards,
Kai Fujita
