Email snapshot as an attachment (not embedded in the mail)

Hi,

How can I configure the action on motion detection event to send an e-mail in which the image is an attachment and NOT embedded in the the email itself?

Our client wants to receive the e-mails with images as a separate attachment for their monitoring software.

  Hello @...,

  Try changing the following setting:
  1. Open the hidden "Advanced" section of the Web Admin Interface by modifying the URL:

  http://<server_ip>:<server_port>/static/index.html#/advanced

  2. Find the "useTextEmailFormat" parameter and enable it.

  That worked a treat, thanks for your prompt support. Can you let me know how to get the full resolution image (from primary stream), or what I need to do to decide which stream the snapshot should come from.

  Apologies in advance if this is really silly but my client has asked for the attachments to be .jpg instead of .jpeg

  Is this at all possible?

  Hi @...,

  Can you let me know how to get the full resolution image (from primary stream), or what I need to do to decide which stream the snapshot should come from.

  Unfortunately it is impossible to change the resolution for screenshots attached to letters; this is a preset resolution specifically for such images.
  Email Attached Screenshots Policy - Image height is 480 pixels by default, width depends on aspect ratio.

  my client has asked for the attachments to be .jpg instead of .jpeg.

  Modification of the extensions is not supported too.
