Storage Retention Setting

Hi Nx Team,
I would like to ask if the latest version of Nx Witness supports different retention periods for Primary Storage and Backup Storage.
For example, I'd like to configure:
- Primary Storage (Local SSD): 1-day retention
- Backup Storage (NFS/NAS): 30-day retention
Is this configuration supported, or does Backup Storage still follow the retention settings of the Primary Storage?
If it's not currently supported, is there any recommended workaround or plans to add this feature in a future release?

The main and backup storage locations both use the same min/max “Keep Archive For” setting. So if set to a 1-day max, then that means the backup will also only keep up to 1-day max.
With that said, you can work around this by instead leveraging available space versus the keep for option. When the setting is set to “Auto” (checkbox) it will record the archive up to whatever the available storage is before it starts removing archive footage.
For example: If you were to have a main drive that can only hold upwards to 1-day of footage per device (based on size availability and how much space the archive footage takes up), and a backup drive that is much larger and can hold up to 30 days of that same footage, then in that situation you would meet what you're trying to accomplish.
The main drive would record up to 1 day or so of footage and remove it as it writes new footage due to space constraints on the drive.
The backup drive would keep copying footage over as needed and if large enough (larger than the main that is) could hold more days worth of data, so you'd want to try and calculate how much storage you'd need for 30 days of footage from each device essentially and go with that.
In short, the “Auto” setting is the only setting that may allow you to have different retention periods, but that means it'll all be based on the available storage, not a hard set min/max days figure.
