Is Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 supported for the Nx Witness Desktop Client (v6.0)?

Hello,

I am planning a deployment of Nx Witness and would like to confirm the operating system support for the Desktop Client before finalizing our hardware.

We intend to run the Nx Witness Desktop Client on an industrial fanless PC whose pre-installed OS is Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024. The Operating System Support article lists "Windows 11" as supported, but does not explicitly mention the IoT Enterprise or LTSC editions.

Could you clarify the following?

1. Is Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 officially supported for the Desktop Client on versions 6.0.5 and 6.0.6?
2. If it is not explicitly listed, are there any known compatibility concerns or limitations when running the Desktop Client on this edition?

  1. In general, yes, any flavor/build of Windows 11 is considered supported.
  2. There are no known limitations or complications with running that build of Windows 11.

  If you do find that you run into any issues, you can always reach out to your reseller for further assistance with troubleshooting and bug reporting.

  Just to confirm my understanding: Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 is treated the same as any other Windows 11 build for the Desktop Client on both 6.0.5 and 6.0.6, with no known compatibility concerns. That gives us the confidence we needed to move forward.

  We'll proceed with the fanless industrial PC as planned, and will contact our reseller if we hit any issues in the field.
