Recording lost (forecast 1 month lost in 1 week.)

Hi, 
We have lost footage from our NX witness, the camera was forecasted for 1 month however footage was overwritten in a week. 

We lost critical footage within the week. 

We have checked the file system hi_quality and low_quality folders of the Cameras Mac address and could not see any video files. However the folders are still there. 

We can also not see any footage in the trash bin. 

Can you please guide me in any other ways of recovering the footage.
