Deep Linking to Camera in a specific System using a URL (Client 6.1.1.42624)
Hello, and apologies for a potential duplicate in posting. I am having some issues with deep linking to a specific camera within a system (or site now) on the cloud.
I have been following the format outlined here: How to open the Desktop Client Using the URL schema? – Network Optix
Specifically, the format used is: nx-vms://nxvms.com/client/[nxSystemId]/view?auth=[base64(username:password)]&resources=[nxCameraId]
It successfully opens a new window of NX Witness and points at a specific system, but it doesn't seem to go beyond that (targeting a specific camera), no matter the changes that are made.
Additionally, there is a post from a couple of years ago that indicated that one would be able to enable this behaviour through enabling digest authorisation: Link to camera in app – Network Optix
However, I am not able to find that setting in NX Witness when creating a new user in a server (6.0.1.39873). Additionally, digest authorisation is stated to be removed from the rest api according to this. [Action Required] Migrate Your Nx API Integration from Digest to Bearer Token Authentication – Network Optix
Is this feature still supported? Thank you very much.
