    Hello Ido,

    First of all, I'd like to recommend you switching to the latest version of VMS and SDK.

    There are two parts of the situation: the Server part, the GUI part.

    Automatically, status tracking is performed if
    - auto discovery is enabled or
    - recording is enabled on a camera

    If you have Enable cameras and servers auto discovery and automated cameras status check the server will periodically (about 1 min) recheck the cameras and update statuses. The GUI will receive a notification from the Server on status change.
    If the recording is on the Server will automatically update the status of the camera.

    If you don't have auto discovery enabled, you need to force the Server to login to the camera and update its status.
    Turning the recording on will make the Server update status of a camera.
