Alert timeline on mobile for all cameras and by most recent

Forgive me if ive missed something, I've come from Blue Iris and only been using NX for past 3-4 hours.

If you are on mobile and you get an email about an alert, you want to open the app and goto that alert and watch the playback straight away.

See how blue iris does it in following 2 screenshots

It seems the NX app does not have anything like this? You can you manually sort to cameras and then its clunky to drag the timeline around to see the clips?

Hoping this can be improved.

Noted I am using the android app.

  Hello Rhys,

  Nx Witness Desktop client has an Event Log that does exactly what you want here. Just letting you know that we do get what you're asking for.

  On the other hand our UI/UX team considered something like this would overload the design of the mobile application and make it less usable.

  Instead we're thinking the combination of the following features to be used instead:

  • Every Event could have a "Send email" that will contain a link to open some part of the archive immediately in an app. Nowadays every mobile has email client working all the time. This helps to keep and conveniently search through the received notifications.
  • In 4.1 we're going to introduce "Push notifications" feature that will allow jump into the archive to view the recent events right from the notifications panel.

  Thanks, that sounds good. I still think it would not hurt to have a side menu in-app and have "events" as a sub-menu that mirrors functionality of the main application.
