32 bit upgrades

I see from the release notes that 32bit is no longer supported.
One of my servers is 32bit.
What is the process to upgrade from 3.1 to 4.0 and go to a different machine (64bit) without loosing licenses as well.

  Hi Gord,

  You can use the in-client deactivation

  First, deactivate the license, then activate it on a different machine, then upgrade.
