NX server inside LXC container withon separate block device
AnsweredHi guys!
Are there any way to manually add a file path to store NX archive?
Our case is NX inside LXC container and we have no separate block device to format it to any filesystem and mount inside running container. I can only bind mount a directory/ZFS-dataset from host system inside container, but I suppose it does not recognize as a mounted block device.
I know about smb-backed storage but it seems a bit wierd to save data on local drive over smb protocol.

Hello Denis,
We have not tested Nx Server in LXC containers at all. It is not supported configuration.
So we can't recommend using Nx in LXC containers neither for test nor for production environments.
Ir order to be considered as a location for video archive the additional storage should match several conditions:
1. Block device with a partition of minimal size of 50 GB and at least 10% in size of the existing video archive storage.
2. Supported file system. Here is the list:
vfat
ecryptfs
fuseblk //NTFS
fuse
fusectl
xfs
ext3
ext2
ext4
exfat
rootfsnfs
nfs4
nfsd
cifs
fuse.osxfs3. The user account Nx Server runs under has write permissions to the partition.
