    Hello Lechee,

     

    Sorry for the late response. We were thinking about the best solution, but we haven't implemented anything in the 4.0 release.

    We keep users's settings in case their restore the plugin later again, but there is no way to remove this information from the database.

    Hello.

    What is the minimal viable way to remove this cached plugin info from Nx ?

    I am ok with reinstall if it is necessary, but is it something less invasive ? I was looking at  https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/221631188-How-to-preserve-data-from-any-Powered-by-Nx-product and I thought that I will ask beforehand.

    Hello everybody,

    As it was said before we keep plugin information viewable in "System Administration->Plugins" dialog for a reason.

    A plugin could generate metadata stored in the database. This data has to be identified by a plugin it was generated with.

    We have been already asked about the cleanup procedure. I'll refresh the status of this task and will update in this thread later.
