NFS Storage instead os Samba
CompletedHi, as per the title, is it possible to use NFS network storage instead of Samba?
I found your VMS last night through Youtube and am very impressed so far. I've been using a Hikvision NVR at home for around a year that I got from work (we mainly use Bosch or HIK) but I've found that even trying to run one of my 3mp cameras at its highest setting caused it to reboot.
I had the cameras recording as normal to the NVR with a backup NFS share on my home server to record on motion only in case someone nicked my NVR.
I currently have the trial licenses and would like to see how well recording over the network would work to my existing NFS shares but it keeps telling me the path is invalid.
I'd prefer to not start messing around with my samba shares as they're full of important data (I'm not bothered about wiping one of my NFS shares)
I'm running the VMS on a Pi 3 and I'm very impressed with the responsiveness, it manages one of my 3mp cameras at full resolution with no issues. The linux client is also a godsend as I was having to load up a VM to run ivms any time I wanted to work on my Hik nvr.

I've been using NX Witness with all storage but the boot drive on an NFS share. If you mount an NFS share using command-line it will show up automatically within NX Witness and you can just enable it. Has been working well for me for the past year recording 10x 8MP camera! :)
