A question about MetaVMS-TestCamera program?

I wonder that how to use metavms-testcamera program ? 
I run "testcamera" with following command: testcamera.exe files="./1.avi"; count=20.
The console showed the broadcast messages from Mediaserver.
Firstly, i though testcamera works like a virtual camera. But there are no additional camera was
added into camera list in NX-client side.
Therefore, i wonder that how to use cameratest program for development.

  Once you start testcamera like this - the server is supposed to discover 20 cameras with this file. 

  Try this: export some part of the archive from the real camera in mkv format without any settings (no transcoding), then use this file for testcamera. There is a chance that the application cannot decode avi file
