    Thank you for your question.

The specs that you outlined should be able to handle that load. If you have any more questions regarding tech specs, then please feel free to view our KB on this which can be located at this link: https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/206090177-Nx-Witness-Server-Hardware-Specs

Please let me know if there are any further questions or concerns. Thank you.

Just one more Q, if I had let's say 100 of these CCTV units each having one of these mini MSI Servers inside and I create a ‘hive’ would it make any difference on performance from that perspective, sorry if this sounds a silly question but just double checking before I invest, obviously I would ensure the client PC's are a decent spec. But just double checking they are all compatible and will perform well :)

Yes, in general it should work if you had them all as separate servers and merged them all into a single system/hive.

You will see a warning if you try to merge more than 10 servers into a single system/hive, however that warning is just a warning and provides more insight regarding why it's warning on the warning message. Outside of that though, we do not have many reports of issues with large environments that center around the product itself, it's usually more hardware related concerns or strict network policy issues that end up impacting the product in some way in those instances. And of course, the more hardware involved, the more likely you are to have hardware specific issues arise basically.

Please let us know if there are any further questions or concerns. Thank you.

Hi, I am trying to keep my costs down naturally, so this N100 is looking very appealing, but would let's say an I5 make a difference  under my circumstances with just three cameras or would that be a waste of CPU horsepower obviously I'd keep the SSD hard drive and ram for what that costs, thanks

The best answer I can provide is what is detailed in the link provided on the 9th, below are the recommendations regarding hardware that seem to match more closely with your use case. So long as the N100 is better than the minimum Intel Celeron 8th gen or AMD Athlon Gold Quad-Core that is referenced then you should be fine with your configuration.
