Staggered/Sequential server upgrade

I don't think this is possible yet, but it would be interesting to be able to selectively apply upgrades to specific servers, so that there is a not a System Wide sync'ed recording gap in all cameras in a multi server system.

In the upgrade screen, each server could have it's own update button, something like this:

  This idea could be useful for smaller clusters (few servers). For clusters of, say, 50 servers, it would be cumbersome.

  I know what you mean, but the request comes from an end-user / Integrator where they already have 15 servers (and growing) and they would want this.

  This is a “High Availability” kind of application where they have to make sure they have constant and uninterrupted recordings, where even just a few seconds of missing footage could cost them in terms of fines.

  So in the case of an upgrade they will have to stagger the upgrades, by manually accessing each server and installing the new version without interrupting the other servers.

  btw: they are recording the same camera twice in the System, hence the problem of rebooting both the main and backup servers at the same time.
