Consultation on Displaying Intelligent Tracking Boxes for Target Preview
hello:
I'm a member of the uniview development team and I'm encountering an issue during development. I hope you can assist me:
Previously, we inquired about how to display intelligent object tracking boxes on video frames. Your response indicated that as long as our device supports Onvif Profile M, the intelligent object tracking boxes can be displayed. Currently, we've conducted tests using devices that already support Onvif Profile M, and the results are as follows:
- With the built-in uniview plugin on the NX platform, the intelligent object tracking boxes display normally only when the device's encoding type is H.264. If the encoding type is H.265, the boxes do not display properly, and we didn't find any Onvif Profile M-related information in the captured packet files.
- With our self-developed plugin, after reporting Person and Face information to the NX platform, the platform displays the intelligent object tracking boxes along with the attributes we reported. However, the tracking boxes only flash briefly and do not persist.
Based on these test results, we'd like to ask the following questions:
- How are the intelligent object tracking boxes implemented in the NX platform's built-in uniview plugin? Does NX parse the stream data itself to overlay the tracking boxes? If we want our self-developed plugin to achieve the same effect as the built-in uniview plugin, what steps should we take?
- After the NX platform receives events reported by our plugin, how does it overlay the intelligent object tracking boxes? Does the NX platform calculate the positions of the detection boxes itself and overlay them on the live video? Since the plugin's reported events are not continuously pushed, the tracking boxes only flash briefly.
Best regards!
