Hi Support - Ever since we upgraded a number of our servers to NX Witness version to 6 from 5 we are seeing slow performance with the app. I have a feeling its the LDAP causing it. I have noticed that it's populating every user/group from AD into NxWitness. In the previous version in the user/group section we could see only those users who were added to NxWitness.
Is there a way to have the user/group section only show those whom have genuine access to our NxWitness system?

If you wish to limit what users are pulled in via LDAP then you will want to configure a Search Base (which is a specific OU you wish to pull all users from) within the LDAP configuration.

Please note though, that it's not entirely a certainty that the LDAP calls are causing your performance issues. LDAP calls like what we're making are very lightweight and wouldn't cause any sort of resource usage within the server itself, so if you find that you're still seeing performance impacts then I would suggest reaching out to us via a support ticket so we can investigate further with you.
