Support for other file systems - S3FS, Shared Folders/File Systems for recording

Dear NX Team,

In our company we have a lot of cameras and we are using VMs as NX servers. Currently we are using SSD storage which is quite expensive and we use it a lot (hundreds of TBs). We would like to switch to some cheaper alternatives such as S3 buckets or shared file systems. However, despite our attempts we cannot make NX Witness to detect any mounted system except disk drives. 
We would greatly appreciate an ability to be able to write data to a shared file system or S3. In essence we would like to be able to write data to any device mounted under /mnt, for example.
