Backup storage size quota or retention limit

We are running into issues trying to utilize the backup storage location for a source with Wasabi Video Surveillance Cloud. We dont want to keep footage on the backup disk (mirrored to the cloud) for near as long as the global on prem storage setting. We need a way to limit number of days to keep video on a backup storage.  Our workaround has been to create a virtual disk with the amount of disk space we want to keep on backup. On more than one occasion the virtual disk has failed to mount after reboots but gone unnoticed.  A simple setting for Max days of retention on Main vs backup storage independently would solve this problem.
