NX Wintess Media Server service starts unexpectedly taking 10% CPU
CompletedHello friends,
I was tinkering around with NX Witness some time ago and I installed both the client and the server.
I have NX Witness Media Server disabled on startup, however sometimes it will start running on its own for some reason, taking up to 10% CPU (13700k@5.4GHz)
Nothing is using it, nothing is calling it as far as I know.
It happens when I study, when I work and when I play games and I haven't found any relavant common factor

Can you confirm if the Nx Media Server service itself is disabled? If not, then that would likely be why it's starting.
It sounds like you may have disabled it as a startup program but didn't disable the service associated with it so the service is still starting on startup along with all other Windows services that are configured as Automatic startup.
