O365 authentication using Modern Authentication
App passwords have been the previous method to use STMP with an O365 account in NX.
Microsoft is moving towards disabling SMTP Auth for emails entirely and it is disabled by default on accounts. It can be turned on per account for now but will be disabled in the future.
Is there a work around in place or being planned for sending emails using O365 with Modern Authentication in NX?

Gen6 has an option to route emails via Cloud, so no need to configure SMTP.

I second this. I don't want to use “Cloud”, whatever that is. I want to send via our 365 email relay as the OP asked about. Is there a solution?
Will I also need to wait 7 months for an answer?
