archive recording on server

Dear Support team

we are working on the integration with NX Witness VMS and we look which request we can use to get the timeline with the recording on the servers 

Can you please clarify how we can get the array (begin, end) of records in the archive for a certain period (date)?

  Hi,

  Starting from 5.1 the developers have implemented the retrieval of the video chunks as one of the methods under /rest/v2/devices nest:
  https://meta.nxvms.com/doc/developers/api-tool/rest-v2-devices-id-footage-get

  Please, use this new method. It's recommended.

  The ec2 method is going to be moved apparently to the deprecated section.
