Testcamera resources
CompletedHello. I’m doing some testing on some lighter weight debian based implementations of Hanwha wave. These are on intel atom and pentium silver J5005 chips on thin clients. I’m starting to use the included testcamera utility to see how the systems handle multiple camera feeds.Currently I don't have spare licenses to record on these virtual camera streams.
Are there general guidelines on what kind of resource impact recording has on a witness server compared to just having them being viewed live in a client? I am trying to see how many cameras can be deployed on a given system before actually executing it in the field.
I assume the best way to test is to actually record the camera feeds and see what impact it has on the storage, cpu, and memory. Is there any provision to allow for recording of testcamera feeds for testing purposes without requiring typical paid licensing?
thank you
