"Performance Mode"/"Configuration Mode" for Client software
NewI think it would be helpful for the client to have a selectable option to effectively limit the resources the client uses.
For example:
Performance Mode: Automatically shows multi-camera layouts to use the secondary stream (if available). Single camera/full-screen camera would still show the high resolution.
Configuration Mode: Only used to show the standard resources in the tree and allow for configuration, but does not allow for the use of camera display.
I think this would be helpful for scenarios on client machines/servers where layouts set to "automatic" resolution with a handful of cameras causes a spike in CPU usage before dropping the secondary stream. While we can easily just make layouts with that as a saved configuration, that doesn't work if they're pulling different camera streams instead of making layouts. It can help prevent client software crashes and even server crashes if the client is used on a server.
