NX Witness in an Azure VM
AnsweredHas anyone tried to host an NXWitness server in a Microsoft Azure VM with cameras recording directly to the cloud?

Hi,
The solution is interesting, but in a standard solution with a single Server running in the Azure VM, you would either need to setup a VPN structure from the VM to the site(s) or setup the router(s) to open HTTP(S) and RTSP ports for each camera, since the NxWitness server needs access to the cameras.
The solution might be to have a local server without storage and adding a SMB cloud storage, so the recordings are in the cloud, but the server is local.
With Nx, it could just be a MiniPC or even a RaspberryPi 4, depending on what additional functions you require.
