i want to use nx witness rtsp://<server_ip>:<port>/12AB42FD5912

i want to delay the stream by 5-6 sec ,is there any way to it.

  Hello,

  If I understood you right, you could the `pos` parameter.

  By default, Server opens Device at the live position. This parameter defines position in an archive (as a string containing time in milliseconds since epoch, or a local time formatted like "YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss.zzz" - the format is auto-detected). Position can be passed via standard RTSP attribute as well

  I am following the document but could not pull the stream with 5 sec delay ,i am getting stream from the time when recording was first switched on .can u please share a example of url

  But with this method the delay can be added to only one camera.

  Hi,

  Could you please share more details on your objective? Why the delay of 5 sec is required? What are you going to do with 5 sec delayed video?

  Hi,

  I don't know if you need Nx client to open it but if not you can simply add delay from VLC with the network-caching parameter and you don't even need NX ?
