Authentication error with RTSP Stream

I've attempted to grab the RTSP screen from the web admin e.g.

rtsp://192.168.0.17:7001/dceXXXXX-e5bc-6504-8fce-5a86e2875f9a?stream=0

Encrypt Video traffic - is disabled.

 

Your input can't be opened
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://192.168.0.17:7001/dceXXXXX-e5bc-6504-8fce-5a86e2875f9a?stream=0&'. Check the log for details.

live555 debug: authentication failed

 

Any tips on how to get access to the RTSP stream.

  Hello,

  Most probably the account, you're invoking API with, has OAuth/bearer authentication schema, which is default.

  To work with all the media interfaces, we suggest creating a separate account with digest authentication schema enabled and use it for API invocation.

  Hi,
  Unfortunately, I had the same problem.

  Tip, make sure use a simpel user name and password all lowercase.
