HLS Streaming Delay

Hi,

We are currently developing a web page that will enable the user to view camera live feeds on request through the HTTP API. 

HLS streaming works great but when I open a camera in Nx Witness, there is a 20 second delay between the camera in NX Witness and the camera open in the browser. I there a better way to live stream cameras in a browser without the delay?

  Hello Raynard,

  The delay is caused by fulling default HLS streaming buffer.

  All the possible programmatical ways are described in the built-in API documentation in Server's web interface.
