Can't add http stream yet the same stream is wroking through udp
AnsweredWe have a custom stream in h264 format coming from our custom streaming server , we can dd the stream normally via udp e.g udp://@239.0.0.222:1010 and its working perfectly the search can find the stream and add it to nxwitness yet when we try to add the same stream via http link the search doesn't find our stream and we cant add it the http stream is in this format http://10.0.160.6:8869/mm-1/file/21 or this http://localhost:7522/upnp/channelstream/3299449888850907942%7Cdmc.tsand if we try to add the http stream as a secondary stream to the udp one we get no signal overlayed over the original video .
can anybody please advise on what we are doing wrong ?
note the http stream codecs and format is exactly the same as the the udp one and it works flawlessly in vlc

Hello @...
Please refer to THIS article.
It describes which codecs are supported by NX for specific protocols.
In this case, the HTTP protocol is only supported with the MJPEG codec.
Try using an RTSP stream, if possible, or find out if the camera supports MJPEG over HTTP and use that url.0 -
Thanks a lot didnt notice the codexs supported
