I would like to see a shortcut to quick search for objects, just like hold shift for moton search.

  Hi Frederik,

  sorry for the late reply.

  Currently "O" key should be the hotkey for the "Objects" tab, and "M" key is an alternative option to open "Motion" tab, which activates the motion search as well.

  Does it work for you?

  I know about the O hotkey.
  But its not what I was looking for, because this will require multiple steps before the ROI search can be performed.
  
  Another way to implement this is to add an option to camera settings to choose between monton and analytics ROI and then use this as the defalut search method for the camera. And then use the SHIFT shortcut for both.
  
  I think that ROI search will completely replace motion search in the future, but I also see that it will take time and that motion search will still be needed for a long time.
