Open and close video thumbnail in the same window on Input event (enabled/disabled)

Hi,

I would like to automize the opening and closing of video thumbnails in the same window by using input ports from an I/O device.

For example, if input 1 is enabled, camera 1 is shown.

Then if input 4 & 16 are enabled, camera 4 & 16 are also shown with camera 1 in the same window that is already opened.

When inputs are disabled, cameras are not displayed anymore.

 

Is it something possible ? If yes, how to do it ?

  Hello Brian,

  First of all, as of 4.1 version unfortunately AND/OR logic is not yet supported for the events input in the Nx/WAVE. It is in the roadmap for future versions.

  Back to your request. I would recommend you prepare the layouts with certain cameras on them with the desired configuration.
  When you have full set of the layouts to open, you could create event rules for those inputs:

  When "Input signal on camera/device" starts at "Camera/device X" -> Do "Open Layout" with name X and show to user Y.
